You can stick with your summer shirts if you throw them under a wool or corduroy vest. Pull on some jeans and you’re good to go.Skirt the issue. Keep the summer skirts alive by warming them up with wool tights and a cozy sweater. Boots or clunky shoes top off this look.Get tanked. Your summer camisoles and tank tops will wear well beneath a fine fall blazer. You can also use them instead of the ho-hum dress shirt with an autumn suit.

Accessorize for autumn. Your summer accessories should be packed away for the season, or you may simply appear confused. Pair fall fashions, and summer fashions worn in fall, with clunky, heavier jewelry. Thick gold or silver works well, as do darker colors and heavier styles.

Keep an eye on color. Your bright summer fashions can still be a go as long as you pair them with darker fall colors. Rust, deep greens, browns, grays and sienna are smashing in the autumn. Those hues are equally as smashing paired with the bright summer colors of the same color family.
